The Appearance feature of the Settings dialog allows you to customize how Manager appears. To access the Appearance options, click File > Settings and then Appearance.
You can set any of the following options:
- Always create a new mode when creating a new media—This option automatically creates a new mode whenever you create a new media.
- Print labels for swatches and test images—This option places a label on each swatch and test image when it is printed. Labels include information about the print.
- Print Method—This option determines how an image is sent to the printer for printing. You choose to print directly to your printer or to print using RIP-.
- Use the operating system buttons and controls—This option changes the appearance of Media Manager to match the look and feel of your operating system. If you select this option, you must restart the application for it to take effect.
- Units—This option allows you to set which system of measurement you will use (English or Metric). The Precision option determines how many decimal places are shown with your measurements.
- Language—This option allows you to select the language you would like to use. Click the down-arrow, and select your language from the list of available languages.
